The bodiless portion of the teaching duo was absent this day, and in his place was a head just sitting on the desk. At first the newer students were put off by it as they entered the classroom, thinking it was simply a severed head that had been placed on the teacher's desk as a prank or a lesson supplement, as its-her eyes were closed.
However, once everyone had sat down and started looking around, they saw the head twitch. When one student jumps in their seat, the head smiles and opens her eyes.
"Last month you were taught by my body, Camron! Today you will be taught by me, Katja, and you will learn." She looks around at the room, though she can't seem to turn her head very far, and nods, a disapproving look on her face. "Camron told me only three of you did your assignment last month, and I am quite disappointed in the rest of you because you clearly don't take this class seriously. Prove me wrong this month, if you please?"
MDC 101: Introduction to Medicine
Katja says:
"This class has mostly focused on cures and treatments that can be done with plants and medicines, but has forgotten one of the fundamental aids to healing. Magic. As such we are going to practice a basic healing spell. You'll find the incantations written on a stack of papers over on the left counter, I expect you to pick it up after class. You are to heal someone with this spell and nothing else. Keep in mind that it'll only heal minor injuries such as small burns, cuts, rashes, etc and nothing major like broken bones." She looks at the students present, then finishes with, "You will be able to do this spell so long as you can pronounce the words correctly, and you may inflict the injury yourself. I don't care if it's on yourself or on a fellow classmate or just some random student, so long as you heal them afterwards."

MDC 201 - Anesthetics and Pain Reduction
Katja says:
"For this month you're going to make a pain chart, for use with future patients. All that you have to do is create a chart with pain levels from 1 to 10 along with examples for what sort of pain would be felt at each level. For example; you wouldn't want to put a sunburn at level 9, nor would you want to place severe third degree full body burns at level 2, since the chart would increase in intensity as you reach higher numbers. You also wouldn't want to make a sunburn level 3 and a third degree burn at level 4, as there's not much of a scale there." She gestures to the right counter, then continues, "You'll find all the necessary supplies on that counter or in the cupboard directly below the supplies on the counter. Try not to be wasteful."

MDC 202: Physical Injuries

"There are many ways to detect injuries, though most people tend to think of the 5 senses before anything else. However there's more to it than just seeing if someone is bleeding or hearing the wheeze of their lungs. Humans have created the X-Ray machine, to detect injuries to bones that they cannot see nor want to touch for fear of making the problem worse, among other things. However, where normal people have their science, we also have the distinct advantage of being able to use magic for all sorts of things.
Your assignment this month is to figure out a spell that can detect when someone's body is out of whack somehow. This can be a spell that detects illness, injury, or even mental instability. Make sure it can also show you what's wrong, as it would be fairly useless if it only showed you that something was wrong unless you were incredibly well experienced in the medical field."
