There was always such a mess to clean up after making just about anything, though it was usually worth it, even if the only thing he got to do was a simple potion brew. A quick look around his shop told him that much. Hearing a groan from the counter where the shirtless winged man was lying, he huffs in approval. “The potion seems to be working. He’s coming to,” the silver haired shopkeeper says to the dark beast of a hirsch ookami standing next to him. "Maybe this will teach the angel to test the treats his little band of thieves steals for him."
The "angel", fallen for who knows how many centuries, Akuma, had wandered into the shop for a little chit chat a few hours before but had quickly left, making up some excuse after a sprite had tugged at his hair a little. It wasn't a half hour later that Lelouch dragged his limp body back into the store. From the thrum in his staff the Alchemist knew instantly that Akuma must have had a run in with some sort of magic, though the nature of it was unknown. Fallen angels could be affected by the most random of things, from holy water to a nice ass. A small sigh passed through his lips and he nodded at Lelouch, who barked happily that his partner was going to help. Working together, the two of them managed to clear off the counter and place Akuma on it, but not before the Alchemist changed the "open" sign to "closed" outside. It wouldn't do to have distractions while he was working.
Taking the opportunity to nab some fallen angel feathers, a rare ingredient even with a fallen angel working in the same city, the Alchemist lets a rare smile tweak the corners of his mouth before fading back to his normal grumpy face. He would have to change the nature of what Akuma was passed out from, from magic to a simple sleep. Then he would be able to just add some ingredients that would naturally wake him up from whatever sort of sleep that potion put him into.
Directing Lelouch to fetch various ingredients from around the store (it wasn't like he was going to be getting that many sales anyway), the mysterious man works on brewing something that would bring this fallen angel out of his stupor. It wouldn't do for him to lose the one person he could have any sort of conversation with, though he didn't believe that this magic would be permanent even if he didn't do anything about it.
The potion didn't take long to make, though there had been a few people at the door to his shop sounding disappointed that the store was closed. A few rattled the doorknob, and he had to yell at them to go away. Akuma didn't move save to breathe, a function that the alchemy master checked on regularly to make sure his...patient? was doing alright in this magic-induced coma. The man stretches out his arms and back after hunching over the potion for so long,  and then he spoons some of the mixture into a beaker so that he can trickle it down Akuma's throat more easily. He would have to make sure that the fallen angel's head and torso was propped up right, or else the potion might go down the wrong tube, resulting in choking and potentially much worse. The Alchemist did not want to deal with a dead body in his shop, so he was very careful as he administered the liquid.

A small flock of kusubi had managed to get into the shop and they were all clustered right around Akuma, chirping at him in various voices and him responding in turn. It sounded like apologies, but to an untrained ear it was just noise. The Alchemist didn't care, he just didn't want them shitting on the merchandise.
"Thanks," the fallen angel said simply, to the alchemist's turned back. A grunt and a shrug was the only response as pots and kettles and cauldrons were picked up, cleaned, and put away. Patricia, the sprite that had pulled him out of the shop earlier, had been the first to demand answers, slamming her tiny staff into the counter as Akuma was waking up. Not that she actually said anything, everyone knew that sprites couldn't talk, but the look in her eyes told the Alchemist enough. It was only after Akuma woke up completely that he actually explained anything, and then went to tidying things.
"Are you going to get off my counter any time soon?" the silver-haired man asked, "I need to put my things back on it and you're in the way."
Akuma hopped off and nodded. "I'm heading out now, thanks again and I'll see you around right?"
A shrug was his only answer.

For a quest for this lady ragaki-runeland.deviantart.com…
I needed to reclaim this quest so hopefully I won't have to amp up the content or wait until tomorrow heh I should have had this finished yesterday.

I hope I got the personalities of these two guys right! I did as much research as I could do reasonably, so please let me know if I messed anything up so that I know for the future!
