Basic Information 
Name: Sangeen Interra
Nickname: Geen (pronounced jean)
Age: Unknown, is mentally an older teen
Height: Varies with how much blood she has consumed, though she now tries to maintain a 5' 5" height.
Species: Blood demon.
They're a race of demons that is made of blood and shadows. They're spawned from other blood demons in the same way that a starfish can reproduce asexually via regeneration if you cut off a piece of it. The blood gives them form, though they are not able to create their own blood. They must consume blood constantly to stay alive since their bodies drain the excess/coagulated blood from their extremities/mouth. The younger minded ones are incredibly curious (Draith is an example of this) though as they grow up mentally (since they mature at different rates) they tend to lose that innate curiosity. They are shapeshifters, but are limited by the amount of blood they have consumed with how large their form can be (example: They can't be the size of a whale unless they have an amount of blood equal to a whale's mass. If they only have a mouse's mass of blood, then they can change into anything but they're a mouse size. It gets pretty ridiculous). When they swallow something, everything not blood will dissolve away in their insides. The dissolved compounds then get filtered out with the blood. Occasionally something won't dissolve down to the atoms and so can still affect the system. They don't have proper digestion systems, just a hollow chamber. Things mixed in blood (such as alcohol or drugs, for example) will stay within the blood and will take as long to get out of the blood demon as a normal batch of blood would take. If you shed direct light on them they will be burned away as if the light was an acid, though ambient light and reflected light only weaken them. The rate of burning away is determined by the intensity of the direct light.

Strengths: She’s very good at disappearing into shadows, though she has yet to figure out how to bring her robe along with her. This skill is innate to all blood demons, and is a simple flattening of one’s self to be completely flat against the ground.
She’s good at keeping herself under control and calm, something that many Otherworlde students lack.
She can shapeshift into many different creatures, though all of those creatures still have her black color, jagged tooth mouth, white eyes, and hollow back quills (quills are optional, she likes them). All forms also drain blood as normal. Her humanoid form for classes is not her true/natural form, though it is the form she likes most.
She can eat anything she wants, since physical matter dissolves once swallowed. Usually she only bothers with things that have blood within them. This means she tends to only have blood as waste.
Weaknesses: When she goes into shadows she leaves a bloody trail since her body is still processing the blood out.
Her physical strength is entirely dependent on how dense the blood is in her system as well as how dark the area is. Ideally for her, she’ll have a completely dark area and the blood dense to bursting point. Unfortunately, most areas have at least ambient light which makes her weaker, though ambient light doesn't necessarily harm her unless the source is nearby, turning it into direct light.
Direct light burns her away; with holes being bored into wherever is experiencing the light attack like a very strong acid on human tissues. This is because she is made of shadows, held together by the blood she consumes and her soul. The burned away tissue can only be replaced by consuming blood, unlike her being simply cut at or stabbed.
She has a terrible sense of sight and touch due to a lack of nerve endings, though she knows where she "ends" so she can feel things poking her and otherwise manipulating the outer shape of her body. Her hearing is alright, though her strongest sense is her smell. She can pinpoint everything with blood in it in an entire building, though things without blood can sneak up on her relatively easily. She can see movement better than details, though she can hunt based on her sense of smell alone. Her eyes process darkness the same way most creatures' eyes process light, with her vision getting better the darker it is.
Goals: Fit in with a human-esque society, become a great potionsmaster and potentially a great healer person as well. She also wishes to be able to learn a spell that will help her from making a bloody mess everywhere she goes. Especially since she's earned the ire of the librarians for bleeding all over their precious reference materials.
Personality: Sangeen is very proper, almost never using contractions and speaking very formally. It takes a lot for her to get irritated, though certain behaviors frustrate her very quickly. She's incredibly curious, as all blood demons are, and tries to understand things that she doesn't quite get. If asked questions she tends to go on and on, giving way too much detail than what is absolutely necessary. She's intelligent in some things, but completely naive in others. Very defensive of the way she lives and her predatory nature (which she almost never lets get the better of her), making sure that people are aware that it is only natural that she hunt and kill and devour like any other predator. She's somewhat introverted, but tries to make it a point to stop observing people occasionally to go talk to them and make friends.
She has a fondness for people who are strange like her *coughcoughGlitchcoughcough* and can consider someone a friend even after one favorable encounter with them.
History: Sangeen has absolutely no idea how old she is, only that when she finally started understanding things she knew that she was small. She began her life in a dusty bar corner of some sort, her tiny white eyes not being noticed by patrons of the bar. The cat was praised for the work Geen did on the rodent population, but she didn't mind for the most part. However, before she left that place, the cat was consumed too. For the first few months and years of this existence she traveled from shadow to shadow, leaving little bloody trails everywhere. It was a while before she realized that she could speak, even if her voice made some very strange rasping noises at first. She listened to everything and learned, eventually hearing of places like Otherworlde Academy where creatures can learn more things.
At this point she had gathered enough blood to be the size of a small child, but she still had no way of understanding the human world that she was living in. She had decided on the humanoid form that she wears today and started wearing it around daily when she realized how cruel humans were to even their own kind, much less some creature as different as her. It was right around here where she decided to steal some fabric and thread and create a way to cover herself if need be. It would be better for getting around anyway, if she weren't restricted to the places that didn't have light. It was then that she puzzled out how to create a robe for herself, which she wears to this day. Her robe has been patched up a few times, though she takes great care to make it unnoticeable. Because of her robe she was able to interact with people easier, and figured them out even faster. There was a disease outbreak and she managed to get many surgical masks for free, though for her it was to cover the teeth, not protect from a silly human disease. Eventually, she managed to hear about Otherworlde being whispered about, and figured that it sounded good for her.
1st Year: She made a few friends this year and realized that while there were still some people who were unneccessarily mean to her, the people here are a lot more accepting of a creature like herself. She realized that she is horrible at normal magic working, though if she concentrates enough she can do simple incantations. She's hoping to go into either medicine or potions, but with the potions assignments for her first year she has encountered some troubles. She is fairly decent at potions though, discovering that she can mix things for herself to drink, even if they only have minimal blood in them.
2nd Year: Her second year was more stressful and lonely than the last, since she hardly ever talked to anyone and kept to herself in the nooks and crannies of the school, hunting out the mouse population. She's getting better at creating potions, both for herself and for others, and realizing that regardless of if a substance has blood in it or not, it still has a chance of going through her.
3rd Year: Opening up a bit, she's realized that people aren't quite as judgemental as she thought, so she doesn't wear her mask regularly any more. She also wears her hair differently, since it can be easily "styled" since it is a literal part of her and not actual hair so she can move it like anything else attached to her. She had a lack of motivation to do her assignments, but is determined to fix it this next year.

Her tongue is bright red with a pointed tip. She can lengthen it as needed.
Her joints and hair is prickleier to the touch than smooth. It’s as if she’s knitted together with straight twigs of shadow.
Her robe was originally white on the outside but is now red because of the sheer amount of blood that she sheds daily.
The blood that she sheds is coagulated and gross, though if she has a surplus of blood it’ll be fresher
If she tries to shapechange into something too small then extra blood will leak out.
She has a peculiar fondness for small animals, but in the same way that a cat has an interest in a mouse.
Her robe is long enough that it can completely cover her if she wraps it around herself. The only exposed bit would be a slit to her face where she can watch the ground if she has her hood up
Her hair can shorten and lengthen according to her will because it is a part of her, though she prefers keeping it long.
If she is low on blood then she’ll retract both her back quills and her hair, to keep the blood dense in her main body. She’ll also shorten in height.
She can use the excreted blood from her fingertips to write and draw, though she's not the best artist. She's working on it though!
Her room is kept dark with the blackout curtains (she goes through the trouble of asking them to be specially installed each year) drawn. When in her room she likes to chill in her natural form, taking off her coat.
Her eyes are totally white, without a pupil. If she must be drawn with a pupil for expression purposes then the pupil will be red.
She likes eating blood-covered glass, or glass in general. It has a peculiar crunch, akin to a large crystal of rock candy.
She is effectively a carrier for diseases and other contagions since she cannot get sick from something like that but they don't always die when consumed. Sometimes the virus/bacteria absorbs straight into her skin without going through her digestive system.
