Camron is now dead/gone (I'll determine that at the end of the semester) so it's only Katja that matters any more

    I've had a lot of people think that Camron was Katja's body and that isn't true. Her next app will ONLY have her so PLEASE don't draw Camron unless it's a memory.

Name: Katja
Age: She appears to be in her early 30s but she's easily over 1000 actual years
Height: 8" from the bottom of the neck stump
Species: Dullahan head
Species Description: Dullahan are the headless horsemen and horsewomen of Celtic myth. They are fae creatures, and are harbingers of death.

Abilities:

• Very good memory
• Able to control her smoke for everything from floating to making it dense enough to use it as a sort of tentacle. Can also use it to actually interact with physical objects, making it an effective hand of sorts

Very knowledgeable, Katja sometimes comes across as being aloof or arrogant even when she really doesn't mean to. When someone is asking her a question about a topic she's knowledgeable about she may give them way more information than they need, especifially if she feels like every word is imperative information. She becomes incredibly irritated at lazy people, especially students. However, it's really easy to get on her good side, you just need to let her babble about her latest fascinations often or do your assignments regularly.
Since she was granted the ability to move on her own, she had a bit of a mental break and now is a lot more likely to pursue her more dark interests (mad scientist-like stuff) and even encourages her students to do the same. Her teaching method has gone from mostly book assignments to a lot more hands-on stuff, which can be a bit disturbing for her students.

History:

Back when Ireland was still known as Eriu, Camron would ride the emerald hills of his homeland, doing as his kind did; calling the names of the soon-to-die, forewarning those who listened to set their affairs in order, as their demise was close at hand. During one such ride, the horse beneath him was spooked, and the great beast bucked him. Lying there in the road, he contemplated the source of his mount's fear, until another thought flashed in his mind; his horse had run off with his head! Try as he might, he was never able to find his head nor horse after that evening, and, as the years wore on, his memories started to chip away. In a panic, he searched with greater fervor, failing still. In a last-ditch effort to preserve what was left of his memories as well as his sanity, he took the head of one of those whose name he'd called... the head of a girl named Katja. Binding their psyches together with his fae magic, he successfully managed to preserve the remainder of himself (and even restore a fraction of what he lost,) as well as obtaining a companion, to make the drudgery his calling had become more bearable. Though a part of him still longs to find his head, and yet another part of him wants to provide Katja with a body of her own, he refuses to dwell on those things too much, accepting that they'll happen when they do, if ever.
As time wore on, the number of dullahan dwindled, though this was no great concern since dullahan weren't inherently social fae. It simply meant that they had to travel farther and call more names. As Camron and Katja heeded the summons of death, they came upon a dark castle that had been made a school, where one could practically see the names etched in the very stones of the buildings. Figuring they would be at this place for an extended stay, they searched for methods to keep them 'close to the action,' as it were, and their search turned up an opening as a teacher at this school... as the Medicine teacher. Figuring that would be a way for them to achieve all their purposes in one fell swoop, they applied for the position....

Year 1
Their first year had a very small student turn out. The medicine department had been passed around from teacher to teacher, each one who taught differently, and as a result not many people really cared about the department.  They set out to change that, and had a few students that did amazingly.

Year 2
Their second year was a bit discouraging, with few students doing their homework.

Year 3
Katja started secluding herself more and more and lashing out at Camron, though he was really confused since he remembered her being the one to be so excited to be a teacher. He took over a lot of the teaching, though Katja still helped him figure out what to assign to their students.

Year 4
The bags under her eyes were growing daily and her irritability was at an all time high, and finally the two of them talked it out. Katja had developed depression regarding her inability to actually move around on her own, relying on not only Camron but her students too when Camron wasn't around. And if she was alone in their room then she was truly out of luck, stuck in whatever spot Camron left her in last.
In an attempt to fix the cause of her severe depression Camron performed a ritual at the end of the year to pull some of the smoke out of his own body and attached it to her neck stump. The amount of power required for the spell and the fact that he was pulling out his own essence drained him incredibly, so he wasn't even able to really leave their room for long periods of time. Anyone that saw him was pretty shocked at how awful he looked.

Year 5
Katja responded with fervor to being able to move around again, something she hadn't been able to do on her own outside of the random spell for over a thousand years. As a result of this power she had a bit of a mental break, since she is now able to pursue the curious musings she has had float through her mind over the years, such as what would happen if you attached an extra arm to someone? To indulge in her madnesses she and Camron came up with a new coursebook for the medicine department, allowing for not only regular doctors to get a degree but also students that wanted to learn how to heal with magic, as well as those students that were like-minded to Katja and didn't mind bending the rules a little to pursue their insane goals.
Camron managed to get himself out of bed to teach one of the classes but then he was indisposed for the rest of the semester, leaving Katja to teach it. Not that she minded at this point!

Year 6
The students she had were amazing, and so many did their assignments. Never had Katja been so proud, though Camron seemed to be disinterested. She passed it off as him still restoring his strength, though she wondered when he would be better and able to help her out.

Year 7
Katja has been abandoned and is missing Camron but loves her students too much to abandon them as well.
CURRENT YEAR

Misc. Information:

• A black smoke like substance emanates Katja's neck stump and is now a part of her biology. The smoke was essentially Camron's essence, and with Katja receiving it and then losing him she's lost even more of her mind.
  
• Katja can bleed and feel pain even with the smokey essence.
• Wounds heal faster than normal beings. For example; an inch long shallow knife wound might take a week or so for a human to heal, but for Katja it takes her a few minutes to an hour dependent on the condition that the rest of her is in.
