Burst Forth

So this is a painting that I did in my advanced art class last year and have just now gotten around to piece it together in SAI (since there was some weirdness due to having to scan it in 2 pieces). It's based on the idea of losing your mind, but in that, you gain creativity. By losing your mind, you color your black and white world. I dunno, I like it quite a lot.

The person is meant to be a bit on the androgynous side, so you may think of them as male or female (though I personally tend to lean more towards the male side). It took me so long to finish this thing omg. The person and colors are done mostly in acrylics with some watercolors to blend, and the black/grey background is 100% watercolors.

I'm super proud of this, so I hope you people like it, even if it is not technically wonderful
